Over the past 30 years Sound Leisure has gained a reputation for designing and manufacturing world leading jukebox systems. Their home-market range of Classic Jukeboxes maintain the styling elements often associated with the golden age of dome-top jukeboxes including bubble tubes, chrome castings and subtle coloured lighting. Using the knowledge and skill built up over years of producing these wonderful machines Sound Leisure have now created the classic Digital Nostalgia Jukebox allowing this classic retro style into a hi tech digital market.
The Nostalgia Digital is hand crafted to the same exacting standard you would expect from any Sound Leisure Jukebox. The back cabinet is a one-piece veneered shell making it strong and durable. The bubble tubes are encased in polycarbonate to withstand the toughest of knocks and Sound Leisure's ScreenSeal technology protects the touch-screen from grease, liquids and vandalism. A bespoke 6 way speaker system and 300w amplifier takes care of the high quality sound and the lighting has also been updated to include Sound Leisure's super bright Diamond Pack LED lighting system.
Not only does the Digital Nostalgia look good and sound great, the music content for the UK market is fantastic too as it is available as Sound Leisure's RPS10,000, Milestones in Music or Milestones in Music AV technologies, with music packages available through Soundnet.
The RPS 10,000 Jukebox Technology Is based on Sound Leisure's original Audio Surfer technology. This was first digital audio jukebox software to convince operators that the switch from CD to digital was a profitable one. Many of the Audio Surfer's original innovations have passed to the RPS10,000 including the 'Intelligent Music Management Software (IMMS) which automatically works out the most profitable tracks to add to the jukebox library based on the trends of previous paying customers. Reliable beyond compare and easy to use for both customer and engineer, over 10,000 machines worldwide rely on this type of technology.
The Digital Nostalgia is also available in the UK with Sound Leisure's most comprehensive jukebox technology. Milestones in Music (MIM). This technology has advanced jukebox innovation to a new level. With the capacity to store up to 30,000 audio tracks on it's local hard-drive it has surpassed the need for a broadband connection to enable this level of music content. A core library exists on the MIM comprising of every single track to appear in the UK Top 40 since 1952 plus a wealth of other essential tracks and albums. Additionally, the Milestones in Music AV adds a massive library of video tracks, and includes every UK Top 10 video since 1980. The Milestones in Music and AV follow Sound Leisure's principle of profiling the location to filter out unsuitable tracks at specific times (i.e. offensive language or visual imagery during daytime and early evening periods) Subsequent music and video updates of this type are automatically hidden.
Over the past few years the company has developed additional music technologies enabling their products to be used across Europe and now offer interfaces in Finnish, French, Danish and Spanish amongst other languages, with partner Soudnet. Sound Leisure offer the Digital Nostalgia in these European versions and with the best in technologies and the current resurgence in retro design the Digital Nostalgia is surely a classic!
