Rock-Ola Exhibit
Published:  04 September, 2008

Rock-Ola recently enjoyed a successful exhibit at the International Billiard & Home Recreation Expo held in "Queen City" Charlotte, North Carolina.

While attendance at the show was not huge, Rock-Ola CEO Glenn Streeter and President, John Schultz did not hesitate to brand the show a success. "The show was successful for Rock-Ola because we got to exhibit two truly new and exciting products and take orders for delivery in September-just in time for the holiday season," said John Schultz, President.

The new products introduced included the "Q", a slim, compact, table-top model built with a "Nostalgic" look and feel. It's dimensions are 26" x 22" x 11" deep and, just like the full-size Rock-Ola Nostalgic line, it's built with exotic hardwood, cast & chrome-plated trim, and features the kaleidoscopic lights. The second new home jukebox introduced was the Mystic, a compact, versatile, and modern wall-mounted Music Center designed with a metal cabinet and a halo of blue light. Measuring 26" x 19" x 7", the Mystic can be hung with a standard TV mount or can reside on the countertop with two feet and is the perfect choice for many homes in which space is at a premium. Both models are equipped with a digital amplifier and two speakers. Either model may be connected to outside speakers or audio systems. Designed to maximize enjoyment of the music library, both models bring the awesome Qsonix technology in stylish and space-efficient cabinets to enhance any home.

Top retailers of Rock-Ola home jukeboxes are currently placing advance orders on the new, smaller home Music Centers in response to an overwhelmingly positive public reaction to the new jukeboxes. Though the Music Centers cannot be used commercially, Rock-Ola distributors, too, have discovered additional income opportunities by carrying the Music Center line for home sales in their showrooms.

John Schultz continued, "Our brand-new jukebox products have what home recreation retailers have been asking us for: our cutting-edge Music Center technology built into compact wall mount and table-top cabinets. We were able to capture their attention, and the contacts we made were very interested and excited about the new machines. The dealers at the show could see immediately, exactly what I mean when I say, ‘This is not your Daddy's jukebox!' "
