It is now even easier for Photo Play players to keep up with their scores and those of their international co-players. On linked terminals, results are synchronised once a day. But should a player not be at their Photo Play terminal, it could well be that co-players beat their well-earned top score unnoticed.
When this happens towards the end of a Masters round and a player already believes they have won the tournament, such last-minute changes can be particularly annoying.
“With System 2006 we were able to simplify the player log-in on all linked Photo Play terminals,” reports Marco Huter, Funworld ag’s chief marketing and sales officer. “When logging in for the first time, the system issues the player with an easy-to-remember password, such as ‘house’. The password efficiently identifies a player on any linked Photo Play terminal.”
With immediate effect, log-in data and passwords are also the key to access all live.tournament and Masters tournament results in the Photo Play Net section on www.photoplay.com. The previously valid letter and digit code is no longer required. Top scores are displayed for each tournament participated in and personal rankings are further highlighted in colour.
Thus, www.photoplay.com is even more attractive for players who, besides looking up their own tournament results, wish to remain updated on what is happening around the Photo Play Community internationally.
